After decades of performing and teaching, I have developed an instruction style that gets students playing music they love right away. Whatever style of guitar playing you’re interested in, I can help. My specialties are rock, pop, blues, fingerstyle, jazz, and country.
I’ve been playing guitar for 40 years and teaching for 15, and playing in bands professionally for 20 years. I have training in both classical music and jazz.
I am also a regular performer available for private parties, weddings, corporate events, and festivals!
“First, Daniel is an exceptionally talented guitar player and is comfortable with all kinds of music. This is important because it allows him to give the student some control in what direction the lessons go. And no matter what direction that is, Daniel is a virtuoso. Second, I really appreciate his ability to listen to anything you play, and then provide multiple ways to make it sound better. And third, he's a great guy and fun to hang with. Five stars.”

“My 7-year-old daughter received a guitar for her 7th birthday and we hired Daniel to help introduce her to the guitar. Daniel was great! He started her off with the basics and helped her to quickly get comfortable with an instrument she had never played before. He took the time to ask her about her musical interests and taught her songs that were timely and of interest to her. As a mom of 3 kids, I also very much appreciated that he was always on time and willing to be flexible with his schedule.
I highly recommend hiring Daniel!”

“Daniel is an inspiring, effective and excellent guitar teacher. I feel so lucky to have found him. One favorite part of my lessons is listening to this accomplished musician show me how the song should sound. Inspiring! Another favorite is his amazing patience with me and his encouragement as he teaches me techniques to make playing easier. Daniel very kindly reminds me that practice is essential and he is right. Daniel’s approach is based on your individual ability. He’s just great and I intend to keep working with him until I can play like he does (okay, even just a little like he does).”
